1. Does InSource have nationwide coverage?
Yes, InSource has the ability to recruit candidates and manage contractors nationwide. Although headquartered in King of Prussia, PA, many of our local clients call on us to staff branch and divisional operations throughout North America. In addition, most partners that subcontract variable resource needs rely on our ability to deliver a consistent methodology across their multiple operating units.

2. What are InSource’s Lines of Business and Professional Disciplines?
InSource focuses on providing staffing and management solutions for the specialized requirements of IT operations. InSource provides support via contract staffing, temporary-to-permanent conversion, straight recruitment and placement services, staff augmentation, subcontract (Partner) staffing, and project support (short and long term).

3. What are InSource’s strengths as compared to other companies?
Simply put, InSource builds customer (clients, candidates and employees) intimate relationships and delivers customer value through operational excellence.

InSource is easy to do business with. In the fast paced IT industry, you need an organization that can respond quickly with quality resources, as well as, react responsively and resolve operating issues as they arise. Our contractual terms and conditions are flexible and simplistic; we do not get bogged down with administrative minutiae.

Another primary strength is our customer focus and familiarity with our clients, consultants and employees. We understand the importance and value in meeting with our customer’s and work with them to achieve their organizational goals and objectives. We view ourselves as an extension of our client’s organization and as a strategic business partner that will maximize our client’s investment in staffing resources. We believe in long-term relationships, not transactional business, and that’s why clients continue to work with us.

InSource Sales and Operations teams are there at all times should you need support. A huge differentiator for us is our organizational structure. In fact, while most staffing companies have recruiters managing the consultants at client sites, InSource prides itself on a dedicated Field Management division whose sole function is holistic account management. Our people bring an unparalleled service mentality to the staffing business. Our representatives maintain regular contact with both the client and the professional throughout the contract period as well as during their tenure of permanent employment.

Lastly, our trained recruiters employ progressive sourcing methods and advanced recruiting systems to identify Permanent, Contract and Subcontract candidates.

4. How would you describe your company’s hiring process and training programs?
InSource’s hiring process begins with a complete understanding of the supplemental labor requirement and request. The more information we know and have about the specific business initiative will enable us to locate the best and most qualified resource to complete the task at hand. Once we have a firm understanding of the requirement, InSource will source the candidate through a vast network of recruiting vehicles. Our database of candidates is comprised of current InSource employees and consultants, referrals, networking, Internet tools, and industry trade programs.

Once our recruiting staff and operations management team have selected candidates for a given position, an interview process begins that entails the following: phone screen, face-to-face interview, which includes a technical or functional screen and reference checks. The InSource team will then narrow our list of candidates to a select few and submit to our client to review and begin their interview process. InSource prides itself on an outstanding interview to offer ratio. We carefully select and limit our submittals and decrease the timeframe of our clients hiring process dramatically as a result.

Complete Training…
Insource offers training programs to our entire staff. These programs are designed to assist our employees and consultants in achieving their full potential both personally as well as professionally. InSource supports the educational endeavors of our employees by providing monetary assistance for programs/courses that will be beneficial to the employee’s professional development. The course work will relate directly to the employee’s position or general field of work. InSource seeks input from our clients as to the type of training supplied to our employees and consultants.

5. Do you have any minimum/maximum assignment lengths? If yes, then what are they?
No. We work with our clients and candidates to ensure THEIR complete satisfaction. Timeframes range from 1-day assignments with our subcontract partners to 3-year commitments from some of our outsourcing clients.

6. Who are your customers?
While we maintain confidentiality regarding our base of clients, InSource provides Permanent, Contract Staffing and Subcontract Staffing to companies within all geographies, industries and sizes. Examples include the lead and preferred vendor for all staff augmentation positions at a Fortune 50 diversified chemical client; outsourced help desk support for a former Bell telecommunications operating company; multi-platform technical support for one of the leading providers of business availability and disaster recovery solutions; enterprise-wide technical services (applications, database and network) for an Insurance company headquartered locally with branch offices throughout the eastern US; targeted Accounting & Finance staff build out for a CLEC; and, relocation assistance and top grading of a food manufacturer’s Accounting & Finance and IT organizations.

7. What is a “Virtual Bench”?
As unemployment rises and utilization of full-time employees/consultants drops, both end user clients and vendor organizations are seeking cost-effective, efficient alternatives to resource availability. A virtual bench provides access to a variable pool of resources without carrying the unutilized expense. In other words, you get qualified technical or accounting & finance resources, available on immediate request, at no cost to you prior to engaging them in your project. Why pay for the inefficiency and unnecessary expense of a traditional bench when you can get the quality, speed and delivery of a “virtual” resource?
